 Established on 10 September 1954, Tong Yeng was located at the seaside of Nanfangao in northeastern Taiwan. As it is where the Pacific Black Current and Oyashio meets, the rich fish resources in the area has made it the origin of marine product processing industry in Taiwan, and that is one of the geographical advantage of Tong Yeng.
 Ever since its establishment; Tong Yeng has been attaching to the beliefs in quality, integrity, hygiene and fair price. Over nearly half a century, the company has won the support of consumers with this creed, and its sale soars. The growth of business scale has pushed the company to expand. Finally in 1974, it moved the present address in I-LAN Hsien Dongshan Country, which takes an area of 22,323m2. The first reshuffle of the company was completed in January 1978. Thereafter, there were two factory expansions, including one in 1980 and one in 1981, to add a modern frozen shop and fish powder processing shop. Since then, the full automatic line from ice making, freezing, refrigeration to fish can and fish powder processing was finally completed.
