Facility and Product
Both the production and sale of Tong Yeng Industrial Company rank the top of the business. The wide range of Tong Yeng fish products fall into 4 lines: (1) fish with tomato sauce; (2) fish with soy sauce; (3) tuna; (4) fish with vegetable and special flavors. These products with excellent quality and different tastes are not only distributed to convenience stores, hypermarkets, department stores, supermarkets, government-run supermarkets and traditional wholesale and retailing channels throughout Taiwan, but also are exported to Hong Kong, China, SE Asia, North America, New Zealand and Australia with heated acclaims. Tong Yeng invests in production and environmental facilities especially pays extra attention to process. Hence, it is the first domestic enterprise in food industry ever to obtain the disinfections registration license from the FDA of USA, and in 1999 FDA inspectors for the first time came to visit our factory and before they left, they’re very satisfied with the plans of altering our manufacturing procedures according to the regulations of HACCP.
Tong Yeng has received numerous prizes over the years, including the Model Factory for Quality Control award from the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, MOEA, in 1983; the Golden Brand Award in 1986; the GIT Excellent Product Design Award from the MOEA in 1989; citation from the ROC Food Science Society in1999 to eulogize the company’s achievements in can food industry; the first Outstanding Environmental Practice from I-LAN Hsien Government, etc. There are too many awards to be listed here. In sum, honors and awards represent responsibilities, and Tong Yeng is glad to take them all and shall win trust from consumers with more self-motivations. Over nearly half a century, Tong Yeng keeps reminding itself to produce products at reasonable price with total dedication, in order to reward consumers with products of premium quality.
